J'accuse!

J'accuse! is a social deduction game, where you don't know wether you should hunt or hide.

Play with a group of 5-10 friends, and accuse them of being in the minority team, or sneak up on them and steal their information.

Rules

Each player gets a word. There are 2 different words distributed among the players. The majority gets the majority word and the minority gets the minority word.

When you get your word, you don't know wether that is the minority of the majority word.

The goal of the majority is to correctly identify everyone in the minority. The goal of the minority is to find out the majority word

The players take turns. If it is your turn you can either:

The questions are supposed to reveal information about your word, but they can be about anything, and do not have to be answered truthfully

You are not allowed to use insider information between you and the person you are asking. Use common sense in interpreting this rule

If you accuse someone, you trigger an election. Every not-condemned player gets to vote yes or no. If more then half voting allegeable players vote yes, the accused is condemned.

A condemned player shall not talk anymore, they can not be asked questions, and their turn will be skipped.

As long as you are not condemned yet, you can at any point say the word Buzzer. At this point you have one minute time, to guess 3 words

If the word of the majority is among the words you guessed, the minority won. So only say Buzzer if you are convinced you are in the minority

The game ends, when:

To make the game most fun, it makes sense if the minority and majority words are for example somewhat related places that are not too closely associated for example: The Taj Mahal and The Kremlin.
